In this image of Mrs Turnbull, we see her wearing a pair of clip-on South Sea Pearl Earrings.
I think everyone should wear their Australian pearls with pride. We produce the best and most beautiful pearls in the world and they should stand to attention when on your ears. Unfortunately the pearls Mrs Turnbull is wearing seem to be a bit nonchalant; falling forwards on her ears as if they were about to doze off.
There are reasons for this and a remedy as well.
As you can see from the image above we need to raise the face of the pearls about 45 degrees so they are sitting perpendicular to Mrs Turnbull’s Face.
From the image, it seems that the pearls are set with a post and clip (assuming Mrs Turnbull has pierced ears). This mechanism would be providing a lot of unnecessary weight also accounting for our po-faced pearl earrings. If we were to change the post and clip fitting to a large handmade butterfly, as shown below, then we would remove a lot of the weight – and Mrs Turnbull’s pearls would certainly lift a notch or two.
If you do want to wear your Australian Pearls with pride but find they slouch on your ears then despair not; for we have the technology to make your pearls beam with confidence. If you don’t have pierced ears then the remedy might involve a new hole or two.
