Sporting Clubs and associations bind the social fabric of rural communities in regional NSW. On any given weekend hundreds of club members in dozens of country towns across regional NSW meet together to play football, netball, bridge and even shoot clay targets.
Clay Target Disciplines such as Down The Line (DTL), Skeet and Sporting Clays attract hundreds of competitors to small towns like Moree, Guyra and Quirindi. I can imagine clay target shooting might be a pursuit that will have my city clientele somewhat bewildered. However, it is very much a social sport and being an individual competition it doesn’t matter if you miss an event; you won’t be letting your team down.
